Cidiverte sets its historical roots in Italian videogames market in 1992.

Founded by Pietro Vago, one of the best known and most respected figures in the Italian Games industry, the company was purchased by the American publisher Take 2 in 2000.

In 2004 Pietro Vago reestablished a new distribution company called DDE Srl, Distribuzione Divertimento Elettronico. In march 2007 the company changed it’s name to Cidiverte Spa.

Cidiverte is now one of the major distributors in the current Italian games business showing a continuous growth both in terms of organization - 38 employees - and revenue:

In 2007 the company achieved the ISO 9001 certification, which testifies the high quality of the company business. It’s now the only distribution company in this sector to have this certification.
